The 2D Animated was based on East-German cartoon characters. In each of their stories the Abrafaxes are taken somewhere in history and give children a view on these distant times. This famous comic character Abrafax leaves the pages of his comic to embark on an animated adventure across the seven seas to meet with swashbuckling pirates of the caribbean. This animated movie was produced by Universal studios and Hahn Film AG.
